You are pledging support towards the new scheme for the community benefit society to:
- Take a 25-year renewable commercial lease for the new market site
- Fund the cost of essential upgrades to the basic open sided pavilion style building (as outlined in the original section 106 planning agreement) to make it fit for purpose for year round trading and hosting a wider variety of events and activities.
- Help give Hatherleigh Market its best chance of success in its new home
The old scheme to buy the freehold of the new market site with the help of the community ownership fund grant was unsuccessful, so pledges towards the old scheme are no longer valid.
